Today was awesome and exciting!
While the first few hours in the cave were fairly uneventful aside from bringing in New people into the cave, right before lunchtime I stumbled across what we think is a bison jaw. It took a majority of the rest of the time to finish excavating it, and there were pathologies and crooked teeth and risk of rock fall damaging the fossil and everything. It was AWESOME!
That's really the main thing that happened today. Someone was playing a mix of various songs from the 60's to maaaaaybe late 80's, which made for awesome singalongs when Queen or Michael Jackson came on. We also had tacos for dinner.
The Australians are leaving tomorrow, which we're all a bit sad about. They were really nice to all of us and took really pretty footage. Hopefully at some point soon we'll see the video thing they're making in its full glory.
