Today I stayed topside with Penny because I woke up with congestion and some dizziness. We both made sure we drank plenty of fluids as we hand-washed our laundry, which the Australians recorded to capture the more human aspects of doing science.
We tried to do screen washing, but the canopy got bent in the wind and we mixed up the sediment bags on accident. Thankfully only a handful of bones got into the bag we were putting our findings in, but it was still a really stressful mess. We gave up around dinner time and made chili for the camp.
It's funny how last week there were 5 people in camp, and now we have 15. It's a lot of mouths to feed, and a lot of conversations to have. But it's still pretty cool.
